Elite Warriors, Inc.

Made up mostly of humans, with a few token dwarves and elves thrown in, of mundane, highly-trained fighters.

Constant training is the cost of being a member. Constant testing and measurements are taken to ensure progress (any amount) is being made. Members who fail their tests are banned from taking any guild sponsored jobs until they pass another trial.

A couple brawlers that teach martial arts, and one dwarven ranger who teaches tracking and survival skills to recruits

They have made a name for themselves as being one of the most dependable guilds operating in the area. They will take any job within the confines of the law. (Bounty hunting, Shock troopers, Bodyguards, or even simply as guards if you can afford their flat fee for such a simple task)

Many small villages have found that pooling their funds is enough to attract them as bounty hunters.

If you pay their fee, they will not ask questions and they will do what they’re asked.

Their discretion is built into their price, as such, they have many dealings working for the richer citizens in the capital as enforcers and bodyguards.

They have cleared with the local government that loudly announcing “I am feeling threatened and I will defend myself,” three times before they attack that they are usually cleared of any murder charges. If you surrender to them, you will survive, but it will cost you. They’ll accept money, they’ll accept magic items

They will not kill without legal clearance. They don’t need that kind of attention.

Only really accepting of humans, dwarves, and elves. They see those races as the only ones truly capable of the level of professionalism they require.

Membership has been extended to a gnome in the past, but he was put through a lot more hoops than any other applicant before or since.

Orcs and Half-Orcs are seen as too bloodthirsty and cannot maintain their calm.

Halflings have never even been considered. And no “monster” race has ever applied. (Tengu, Ratfolk, Gnolls, Lizardfolk, Goblins, Fetchling etc.)

They are also distrusting of Tieflings and Aasimars feeling that their outsider blood will overpower their emotions in situations of...moral relativism. (Racism, basically. They think every Tiefling will kill when given the chance and no Aasimar will kill when necessary)

As a result, they have a very strained relationship with The Exiles.

Cold relationship with the gov’t. Their tendency to always err on the side of the law gives them some wiggle room, but some gov’t officials see them as nothing more than expensive thugs.
